For seven decades Arie Crown Hebrew Day School has stood as a beacon of educational excellence in Chicago’s Jewish community.  With thousands of alumni, Arie Crown continues to make a tremendous impact on the children it educates, the families it serves, and the community it anchors.  An integral part of the success of Arie Crown has been the many dedicated individuals who have selflessly devoted so much of their time, energy and resources on behalf of the school.

Now, on the occasion of our 71st Anniversary Banquet to be held on Monday evening, June 18th at the Palmer House Hilton, we are thrilled to recognize two couples who have given so much of themselves for the betterment of our school – Yaacov and Esther Mashiach and Dr. Shlomo and Tami Drapkin.

The Mashiachs and Drapkins share an unwavering commitment and dedication to Arie Crown Hebrew Day School that is truly exemplary.  Yaacov has served as a Board Member, Executive Board Member and the current Chairman of the Board, while Esther has provided her talents as a PTA President, volunteer, and our current Business Office Manager.  The Drapkins have devoted themselves on countless occasions in support of the school as parents, Board Member, PTA volunteer and beyond.  Shlomo and Tami have always answered the challenge when called upon to loyally serve the needs of Arie Crown.

In addition to recognizing these couples, this year’s gala reception is being held in honor of Rabbi Aryeh Raitzik, Rabbi Avrohom Shultz and Mrs. Candi Green as they retire from the classroom.  We are fortunate to have this opportunity to recognize the lasting impact they have made on the hundreds of children they have educated, guided and nurtured.

Join us for this unprecedented evening in celebration of Arie Crown and the individuals who mean so much to our school.
