Chai Lifeline Midwest Friends N’ Fun Weekend was held in the Peterson Park neighborhood of Chicago. With boys coming in from Phoenix, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and New York, our 30 boys and Camp Simcha counselors had a terrific time reconnecting with their camp friends and making new ones. Special thanks to our many host families including the Blonder, Cohen, Davis, Helman, Liebenstein and Ray families who opened up their homes for the meals, Oneg, Melava Malka, and sleeping. We are so grateful, and the smiles on the boys’ faces show it! Friends N’ Fun Weekends are dedicated in memory of Sari Ort, A’H.
