Last week, the student council had their first meeting with the administration. Rabbi Kupchik elaborated on the purpose of the student council and then everyone got down to work. The class representatives will be working on: a plan for involving students in maintaining the cleanliness of the student lounge, organizing a school-wide ping pong tournament and ideas for additional programming during the Yeshiva Bowl Shabbaton. Additionally, the students raised issues regarding potential improvements for the dormitory and ideas for extra-curricular programs. Meetings will be scheduled approximately every three weeks.
