“Driving West Rogers Park: Chicago’s Once and Future Jewish Neighborhood,” a 25-min. documentary by award-winning filmmaker Beverly Siegel chronicling the rise and fall of the”Golden Age” of West Rogers Park, the growth of the Orthodox community, and efforts to preserve the neighborhood for future generations, will be shown at 9:30 a.m. Sunday April 29 at Cong. KINS, 2800 W. North Shore in Chicago. A panel featuring Dr. Steven Nasatir, president, JUF/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, and Dr. Howard Rieger, past president/CEO of Jewish Federations of North America and current president of Jewish Community Council of West Rogers Park, will follow the screening.
