Mazel Tov to our Hillel Torah 2nd graders on receiving their first chumashim at their beautiful Kabbalat Chumash presentation! In the spirit of Chanukah, their performance explored the middot of גבורה, courage, and אמת, truth, which were the hallmarks of the Jewish people from the times of the Torah until today – בימים ההם בזמן הזה. As the students acted out different scenes and dances, a new candle on the menorah was lit in honor of key events that happened throughout the Chumash and Jewish history.
