Hillel Torah’s 3rd grade enjoyed a wonderful day downtown last week as an additional culmination of their study of this great city. They began their day by heading to Michigan Ave and hopping on an architectural boat ride down the Chicago River. The tour guide was extremely impressed when the 3rd grade class knew the answers to all of the Chicago historical questions! Next, they ate a picnic lunch in front of The Bean/Cloud Gate at Millennium Park and enjoyed seeing their reflections as they played in the park. In addition, we were lucky enough to see a concert at Pritzker Pavilion. They finished their day with traveling to the Skydeck at the Willis Tower to look down 103 floors off the Ledge. The Chicago trip was a special way to begin to wrap up the school year. Thank you to the teachers and parent chaperones for helping make this such a huge success and memorable day!
