With incredible siyaata dshmaaya we have completed our first winter zman. With the help of our supporters, ten bochurim went home for pesach bein hazmanin having accomplished what they never thought possible. These ten bochurim time and again went out of their comfort zone and tasted success. Last but not least, these bochurim are inspired, motivated, have confidence and iy”h will be happy productive members of Klal Yisroel.
Some of the “can do” building highlights so far have been that each bochur built his own desk, learned to play an instrument, and has learn acrobatic skills. These examples are just some of the many ways our Bochurim were inspired and motivated this winter zman. The results of all these activities were manifested in the hatzlacha our bochurim had in their avodas Hashem.
Their confidence in their “can do” accomplishments have also had extremely impacting results. Some examples are that each bochur feels comfortable and secure enough to be the baalei tefillah regardless of their proficiency in kriah and countless Dafim of gemara have been learned with the translation of every word being written in the gemara for chazara.
Plans are underway to accommodate a doubling of enrollment, as Mesivta Shaarei Adirim anticipates growing to 20 – 25 bochurim next year. Baruch Hashem Mesivta Shaarei Adirim has made a substantial difference to the chinuch in our community.
