Families whose children are patients at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital will find it easier to store their food thanks to three new kosher refrigerators at the hospital.
The hospital asked Chai Lifeline how they could ease the stay of Jewish patients with distinct religious and cultural needs. When we suggested a refrigerator for food storage, the hospital didn’t hesitate. The very next day three refrigerators were ordered for use by Chai Lifeline families and were put in to use that same week!
We are grateful to the incredible leadership at Lurie Children’s Hospital for making it possible for families to be more comfortable during a stressful period.
