Lubavitch Chabad of Illinois is happy to announce the establishment of two new Chabad Centers. Rabbi Mordechai and Mushky Gershon will direct Chabad of South Loop in Chicago and Rabbi Yaakov Dovid & Chaikie Kotlarsky will establish Chabad of Arlington Heights.
According to Rabbi Meir Moscowitz, regional director of Lubavitch Chabad of Illinois, this brings the total Chabad Centers in the state to 49. Chabad has been establishing centers at college campuses (currently full-time centers at ten schools in Illinois), in the city, suburbs and throughout the state since 1976.
