On Monday, December 4th, Beis HaMidrash LaTorah, Hebrew Theological College in Skokie, IL celebrated its 95th Gala. The banquet, which “Celebrated Partnerships”, held at the Westin O’Hare, drew over 500 alumni, parents and community supporters. HTC presented the Eitz Chaim Memorial Tribute in memory of Paul & Doris Rosenberg, ע”ה and wish Mazel Tov to Rabbi Binyamin Olstein, Marbitz Torah Award; Mrs. Beatrice G. Crain and Dr. Michael S. Maling and the Crain-Maling Foundation, HTC Founders Award. music sensation, Benny Friedman, joined hundreds of students and community members for a kumzitz following the 95th Gala Celebration. Throughout the evening Benny sang heartfelt songs to honor each honoree, followed by a number of niggunim during dinner. FYHS student, Shai Younger, spoke to the crowd of 500+ guests sharing his experiences at Skokie Yeshiva. Students from each division spoke at the dinner spoke throughout the event and shared their experiences at Hebrew Theological College.HTC is grateful to all those who attended and contributed to this year’s Gala campaign in support of HTC and its vital programming.
